As a Quality Lab Associate, you are unafraid of navigating through necessary internal processes to facilitate a product you deeply believe in. What You’ll Be Doing- Analyze organic or inorganic compounds to determine chemical or physical properties using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry techniques.
- Maintain laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.
- Prepare test solutions, compounds, standards or reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct tests.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures to ensure compliance with standards or to make improvements as needed.
- Monitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.
- Purchase laboratory supplies such as chemicals.
- Operate lab equipment such as pipettes, burets, balances, hot plates, etc.
- Review samples received, log samples, and enter data into computer database (LIMS).
- Responsible for general housekeeping of laboratory and test suites.
- Sustain a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
- Perform routine laboratory and safety audits.
- Use sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.
- Perform advanced chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of chemistry principles.
- Complete all testing, including special project or protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations.
- Investigate deviations and write exception documents.
- Work under minimum supervision.
- B.S. degree in Natural Sciences:
Chemistry preferred. - Minimum 1 year of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory or Master's Degree in Natural Sciences with relevant experience in a Chemistry Laboratory, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Digital literacy / knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation.
- Good documentation skills and knowledge of GDPs (Good Documentation Practices).
- Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with LIMS (or equivalent system) and Track Wise.
- Proficient with at least three of the following lab techniques: HPLC, GC, AA, Flame Photometry, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectroscopy.

CompensationThe estimated base salary for this position is $68,000‑$93,500 annually.
