Conservation Biologist I (NS)
This Oyster Rehabilitation Biologist provides scientific support for shellfish rehabilitation programs under the Habitat and Enhancement Section. Duties include performing data collection and material deployments in annual operations of shellfish rehabilitation programs. This position will serve as the section's primary point of contact for shellfish rehabilitation operations in the southern region of Pamlico Sound.
Key responsibilities include:
- Field data collection and analysis
- Development of annual habitat enhancement plans
- Participation on various fishery management advisory groups
- Coordination of field operations for several shellfish rehabilitation programs
Recruitment Range - $52,592 - $54,170
