Catering Sous Chef Join our team at Gadabouts Catering, a family-owned catering company based in North Carolina that specializes in high-end catering services for weddings and events. We offer personalized menus, bar services, and rentals with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. As a Catering Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Daily Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Head Chef to plan and prepare food for events Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using sautéing, roasting, baking and knife skills Maintain food quality standards and ensure proper portion control Create delicious foods for weddings and other special events

Required Skills:

Degree in Culinary Arts or minimum two years experience Experience in large scale food production Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Excellent communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with fryer operations Knowledge of pastry making and dessert decoration Previous experience in kitchen management

Salary and Benefits :
Minimum Salary: $21 per hour Maximum Salary: $26 per hour Bonus incentive at end of season Company Information:
