Sushi Chef

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time SUSHI CHEF position.

Toyota - 4857 Dogwood Lane, Liberty, NC 27298.

Schedule:

Full time. Sunday–Saturday; hours may vary; must work weekends. Details upon interview.

Requirements:
Ability to break down whole fish and manage seafood inventory; at least 2 years of experience.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Prepares and presents sushi and related food products to customers.

• Offer a unique combination of restaurant, catering, and special event experience to customers.
• Demonstrate high‑level knife skills and special skills associated with sushi prep, production, and presentation.
• Store foods in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area; clean workstation thoroughly before leaving; keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to assure compliance with all sanitation, Serv Safe, safety, OSHA, production and merchandising requirements.
• Interact with customers to enhance dining experience; demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and be able to accurately explain them to customers and associates.
• Keep up with peak production and service hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
