Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.;
Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.;
Manage opening and closing of the store, including personally opening at least two times per week and closing at least two times per week.;
Evaluate operating statements to identify sales, profitability, turnover, and expense control opportunities; monitor shrink and errors.;
Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure cashier accountability, cash handling, and security procedures..
