Manage the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products;
Assist Store Manager with inventory management and merchandise presentation;
Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with food handling rules and regulations;
Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of food in perishable areas;
Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
