As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark.
Responsibilities include collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally working with other products from different companies.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.50 - $14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
- Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 6 – 13 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required
. - Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products using a mobile device. Use technology for reporting, feedback, and surveys.
- Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours during major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Department resets: Participate in installations, fixture building, and reset tasks, often with advance notice.
- Team support: Work with the field network to support fellow team members as needed.
This is a physically demanding job requiring consistent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Employees must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
