Cage Cashier

Provide excellent customer service to gaming and internal guests through cashier transactions while ensuring all funds are secure and accounted for.

Essential duties and responsibilities include endorsing the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment, responsible for all funds entrusted during an assigned shift, delivering excellent customer service to all gaming guests, understanding and complying with all government regulations, understanding and complying with government Anti-money Laundering regulations, understanding what information is needed to complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's), Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL's) and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL) and able to enter the customer information needed to complete forms, able to process OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) screenings when needed before completing transactions, process cashiering transactions for guests including cashing checks, chip redemptions, markers and payments, credit card advances, bill breaking and other transactions, able to handle extremely large chip transactions accurately utilizing calculation tools to determine correct payout as well as correct payment to the guests, ability to create and maintain customer RA (Resort Advantage) accounts and enter transactions into RA Floor Monitor, checking and entering all customer data needed to comply with government regulations, identify customers who may be trying to structure transactions or evade or circumvent identification requirements, able to work all front line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, poker cage, F &B and bank positions, able to complete all paperwork accurately, verifying play before payment to comply with Title 31 and Know Your Customer regulations, utilize computer workstation for majority of the functions of the cashier job, count and process chip transactions accurately, process jackpot payouts, verify W2-G paperwork, exhibit sound decision-making, work in box office assisting with ticketing for event center shows, participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions, proactive with customer incidents and able to solve issues or contact supervisor to help ensure resolution with guests, adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner, flexible to work additional hours, shifts and days off when needed and flexible with daily assignments.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED required, six months cashier/cash handling experience preferred, basic math skills, intermediate computer skills, basic 10 key adding machine skills, good oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, willingness to learn and to be adaptable, ability to work independently, neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene, documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes, clean criminal record concerning finances.

Physical, mental, and environmental demands include ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items, ability to stand on feet 3 hours at a time, ability to respond to visual and aural cues, ability to read, write, speak and understand English, ability to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
