Manage the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, and dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products;
Assist Store Manager with inventory management and merchandising presentation;
Maintain safe working environment and protect company assets; ensure compliance with food handling rules;
Train assigned associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of perishable foods;
Record inventory levels and perishable markdowns; analyze causes and take corrective action.
