Retail Store Manager

Music & Arts seeks a Retail Store Manager to lead Store 4208, driving sales and service in a mission-driven music retail environment. You will manage daily operations, including staff leadership, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and visual merchandising. Partner with students, parents, and educators to provide instruments, rentals, repairs, and lessons. Build and coach a collaborative team, track performance metrics, and support local school and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, and cash management
• Lead, schedule, and coach sales and lesson staff to achieve targets
• Drive sales of instruments, rentals, lessons, and accessories
• Ensure excellent customer service for students, parents, and educators
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and store presentation standards
• Track KPIs, prepare basic reports, and execute company initiatives
• Support local school and community outreach to grow music education
• Maintain compliance with policies, safety, and loss prevention procedures
