Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting in employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and store maintenance. This role involves fostering team development and ensuring excellent customer service while adhering to company policies.

• Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training staff.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.
• Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and conducting inventories.
• Support in ordering to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service and act as a role model for company policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing, ensure cash and security controls, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Analyze store performance through operating statements to identify trends and control expenses.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately and timely.

• Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety policies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to varied situations.
• Preferred experience in retail and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds).
• Use of equipment like scanners, carts, and ladders.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise and occasional outdoor exposure.
• Occasional travel with limited overnight stays.
