Position: Manufactured Home Sales Pro for Builders & Communities
Location: Hamlet

Sales Representative – Hamlet, NC

We are currently looking for a Sales Representative in Hamlet, NC. The Sales Representative sells homes manufactured by Cavco Industries to builder/developers, communities, company‑owned, exclusive, and/or independently owned points of distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Promote sales of homes to existing customers and prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows to promote products.
  • Demonstrate good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with co‑management, internal, and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Travel to existing customers and prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities at least 30% of the time.
  • Project management skills (preferred). Architectural space planning skills; knowledge of residential construction; ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
