Counter Sales Representative

Overview

Join Bayside Electric Supply Co, Inc as a Counter Sales Representative where you'll work closely with customers to process sales orders for various electrical supplies. You will assist customers in person at the counter by identifying their needs, entering orders into our system, and coordinating with the warehouse team to fulfill orders promptly. This role requires a proactive and friendly approach to customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in electrical supplies is beneficial but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed and grow with our company.

• Assist customers in person at the counter, identify needs, and enter orders into the system.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to fulfill orders promptly and accurately.
• Provide friendly, proactive customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, text, or email.
• Support teamwork and collaborate with colleagues to meet sales goals.
• Maintain organized records and handle multiple customer requests efficiently.

• Basic computer skills for order entry.
• Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally in person and via phone, text, or email.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong teamwork abilities.
• Prior sales or customer service experience preferred, but a willingness to learn and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs occasionally.

• Competitive hourly wage plus an override commission on the independent sales volume of the counter sales produced.
