Position Summary
Senior Director, Sales Planning and Operations – responsible for integrating retail planning and sales support, linking sales execution with supply chain efficiency, overseeing Sales Planning, Account Services, and B2B operations at Kontoor Brands.
Responsibilities- Strategic Sales Planning & Forecasting Leadership – Lead development of sales plans and annual forecasts, collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, Demand/Production Planning, and Finance.
- Demand Signal Accuracy – Oversee style/color-level POS and receipt planning for key accounts to ensure precise demand signals.
- Continuous Improvement and Collaboration – Lead teams to adapt processes, systems, and approaches to improve brand performance.
- People Leadership & Collaboration – Directly manage Sales Planning and Account Services teams, develop salaried professionals and analysts.
- Cross-Functional Partnership – Act as liaison between Sales, Merchandising, Replenishment, and Supply Planning for key business initiatives.
- Executive Communication – Present issues to senior leadership and advise corrective actions to protect brand goals.
- Sales Operations & Execution Leadership – Oversee B2B site management, template creation, and coordination of sales meetings, WNFR, and trade shows.
- 10+ years of sales planning leadership experience in multi-channel retail.
- B.S./B.A. in Business Management, Operations, or related field; M.B.A. preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong influence and cross-functional partnership capabilities.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning systems.
