- Can work cooperatively in a diverse work environment; comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, stretching for product and lifting, carrying, moving at least 40lbs.
- Open availability of 15‑20 hours per week, flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
- Assist the management team to build store business and support all service enhancers to build strong relationships using tools like Concierge.
- Serve multiple customers at a time, multi‑task and handle projects simultaneously.
- Stay aware of fashion trends and maintain product knowledge about fit, color, fashion and new arrivals.
- Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items that match their needs.
- Maximize individual performance by participating in learning opportunities, accepting direction, coaching and feedback.
- Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas, including clientelling/outreach, appointment setting and Talbots Classic Awards.
- Complete projects as assigned, including operational assignments such as filling orders, replenishment and recovery.
