Postdoc of Particle Astrophysics
The Niels Bohr International Academy, Niels Bohr Institute, Faculty of Science at University of Copenhagen offers a postdoc position in Particle Astrophysics. We seek a candidate with joint expertise in hydrodynamical simulations of core‑collapse supernova explosions, nuclear equation of state modelling, neutrino‑matter interactions, and galactic chemical evolution.
The Niels Bohr International Academy is a young initiative committed to fostering the traditions of internationalism, interdisciplinarity and excellence in physics, which characterize the Niels Bohr Institute. It functions as a primary center for fundamental research including theoretical and computational astrophysics, cosmology, high‑energy particle physics, particle astrophysics, condensed matter physics, quantum optics, and biophysics.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within Particle Astrophysics.

Terms of employmentThe position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State. Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
