The Livestock Team Member is responsible for overseeing the hogs, checking and cleaning hog pens and leading the hogs to the harvest chutes as needed. The employee must enforce humane handling of the hogs in our barn and while being unloaded from delivery persons. The employee must move hogs in an efficient manner so that a steady flow is maintained throughout the plant.

The employee must communicate with other employees in the livestock barn in order to effectively move hogs from the delivery truck to pens and then on to be harvested. The worker must also communicate effectively with the chute workers on the Harvest Floor in order to have hogs ready when they are needed; and to also slow down the harvest drive if more time on the Harvest Floor is needed.
