Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location, verifying credentials, screening entry activity, and following post orders related to restricted areas and controlled operations.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies, while maintaining awareness of surroundings and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
