Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by post assignment.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited activity, and/or policy violations at the location.
• Support staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by giving directions, relaying information, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
