As a  Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role  in  Burgaw, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and other security-related concerns.
Support controlled movement activities, enforce post orders and location rules, and complete required reports, logs, and other records related to daily operations and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
