What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at the location.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
* Maintain accurate logs, reports, and/or access records related to visitors, deliveries, and key control in accordance with site guidelines.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
