** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining assigned armed post responsibilities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and/or access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and/or vehicle and pedestrian traffic, following post orders and documenting security-related incidents as needed.

+ Support communication with site personnel, visitors, and/or public contacts while handling routine questions, enforcing location rules, and escalating concerns through proper channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
