Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Maury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, checkpoints, and perimeter areas, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual behavior, rule violations, and/or potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Support order at the location by following post orders, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
