Job Schedule- Thur 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
- Fri 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
- Sat 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public sector personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and support controlled access procedures in accordance with post orders and applicable location protocols.
- Support emergency and incident response by assessing developing situations, following escalation procedures, and coordinating with supervisors and/or first responders when appropriate.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
