You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit activity, and support security-related procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and/or visitor movement.

+ Maintain a visible presence while operating within post orders, handling security-related equipment responsibly, and preparing accurate logs, reports, and/or incident documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
