Armed Security Officer - Correctional Facility

Location: Burgaw

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and assist with screening procedures for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols;
Maintain readiness and proper handling of assigned equipment and firearms, while following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and reporting requirements established for the location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed
