, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

• Wed: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and assist with screening procedures for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain readiness and proper handling of assigned equipment and firearms, while following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and reporting requirements established for the location.

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
