Dispatch Officer in Liberty NC; 3rd Shift

Full Time Security Dispatcher

Marksman Security is hiring a Security Dispatcher for the 3rd shift (Friday‑Tuesday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am) at the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, NC. The position pays $20.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, and requires Security Operations Center experience, a valid state security license, and previous dispatch experience.

You will support the Security Operations Center 24/7/365 by monitoring security systems, dispatching response personnel, coordinating emergency communication, compiling shift reports, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items)
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties as determined by management

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid state security license
• Previous dispatch experience required
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
