Marksman Security provides security services to leading automotive facilities. This opening is for an Unarmed Security Officer (Full Time) covering the 1st shift.

Unarmed Security Officer – 1st Shift

Location:

Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant, Liberty, NC

Pay: $17.50 per hour; 32 hours per week (Thursday–Sunday 7:00 am–3:00 pm). Monday–Wednesday off.

Training:
Company provides training, cross‑training, PPSB license assistance, CPR certification courses, and additional development opportunities.

• Perform rover duties: vehicle and foot patrols, deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
• Manage gatehouse operations: access control, identify residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors.
• Operate front desk: customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements.
• Greet and verify credentials of all residents, guests, and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
• Enforce facilities policies and regulations.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeter for potential safety and security risks.
• Respond to distress calls, alarms, or emergencies (fire, injury, unauthorized presence) by contacting local first responders.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items.
• Report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Submit accurate and timely documentation and reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state security license, if applicable.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and basic computer skills.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods.
