Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Mon and Sun: 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining awareness of activity throughout the location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas, with working conditions that may vary by assignment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify identification and authorization, and report unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support order within a correctional environment by documenting incidents, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access, contraband activity, and/or disruptive conduct.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security‑related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
