2nd Shift Security Officer; Temporary

Job Summary

Position: 2nd Shift Security Officer (Temporary Assignment) – Monday to Friday, 2:00PM to 10:00PM. Salary: $16.00 per hour.

Location:

Shelby, NC (Zip 071044). The assignment ends September
2026.

• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions.
• Follow written and verbal directives.
• Stand or walk constantly for multiple hours, up to an entire shift, on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt).
• Monitor security cameras.
• Provide public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
• Assist in investigations concerning loss or damage of client property.
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives.
• Obtain detailed statements, write reports, interview, observe and document information in a professional manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret and follow rules, instructions and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff and follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.
