Security Officer Front Desk

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in MIDLAND, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk professional in a driving post. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity at the entrance, and support security‑related operations through clear communication and customer service.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols for a manufacturing location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and entry points, verify visitor identity and/or authorization, and help deter unauthorized entry through established sign‑in practices.
• Answer questions, direct visitors to appropriate departments, and support front desk communications in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting designated personnel and documenting activity as needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident reports while observing site policies and confidentiality expectations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
