You will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to help support a secure environment. What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entrances, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor sign-in activity, and report unusual or unauthorized access attempts to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as appropriate for the location and assigned post.
  • Document daily activities, access exceptions, and/or incident details in required logs and reports to help support ongoing security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
