As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Polkton, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tue: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Wed: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Thur: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support movement control procedures in accordance with post orders and location policies.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, daily activities, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated contacts.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
