Position:
Security Officer Armed Driver Route Patrol (Part-Time) in Hookerton, NC. Serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as government. As an armed officer, monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, and support a professional presence through strong communication and customer service. This part-time role includes driving responsibilities.

Part Time

$21.50 / Hour

Daytime:
Friday 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM;
Saturday 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and problem-solve; document observations and communicate with supervisors or public sector personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, movement, and restricted areas, verifying access permissions and reporting violations of rules, policies, and post orders.
• Support emergency and incident response by following post instructions, maintaining situational awareness, and coordinating with law enforcement and facility personnel when appropriate.

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have 6 months or more of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Eligible for consideration even with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state or local regulations.
