Security Officer Access Control

Security Officer Access Control – Wilkesboro, NC. As a Part-Time Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage. This role may include routine patrols and a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents.

  Saturday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, screen visitors, vendors and drivers, and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Document arrivals, departures, incidents and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, coordinating access restrictions during operational disruptions and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, loading and receiving zones, the business, and perimeter.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge management.
• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Criminal history screening conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements per state or local laws; a valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
