Job DescriptionSecurity Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Blanch, NC. Serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including government. As an armed officer, monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and support access control and emergency response. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service while delivering with teamwork, integrity, and a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, staff, and contractor movement according to location requirements.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and public sector personnel.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- May be considered in accordance with applicable laws regarding criminal histories.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
