, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thur, Fri, Sat 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and support established movement procedures for people, vehicles, and restricted areas.
• Assist with enforcing site rules, maintain a visible presence, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities and/or facility staff regarding security‑related issues and unusual activity.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be able to serve in an armed role by meeting age and licensing requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
