You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide clear communication and exceptional customer service. Day Time Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
