, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to demonstrate integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or personnel activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
