Security Guard

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard - Part-Time Mobile Patrol Driver to protect client properties across the Irvine, CA area. In this role, you will conduct scheduled and random vehicle patrols, monitor for safety and security issues, and respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies. You will control access, document incidents in detailed reports, and communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients.

Success in this position requires vigilance, sound judgment, adherence to firearms and safety policies, and strong customer service as a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of client properties
• Monitor for security, safety, and policy violations and respond to alarms or incidents
• Control access to facilities and verify identities as required
• Complete clear, detailed incident and patrol reports
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients by radio and phone
• De-escalate conflicts and manage emergencies safely and professionally
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Follow company safety, firearms, and use-of-force policies
• Provide visible, professional customer service to clients and visitors
