As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Cleveland, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, controlling entry, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible to help deter incidents.

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, vehicle areas, loading zones, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately, following established reporting procedures.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
