Job Description:

Weikle’s Hometown Heating & Air is excited to add another Experienced HVAC Service Technician to our team. Weare a family-owned business that values supporting our employees every day. We are looking for someone who has HVAC knowledge and possess a good attitude. We are a fast-growing company and want to add only the best to our team!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including identifying and fixing issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventive services to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication regarding issues, anticipated costs, and work timelines.
  • Ability to inform customers of preventative maintenance plans.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring all work is completed to meet industry regulations.
  • Accurately document all serviced work and maintain detailed and precise records of tasks performed.
  • Manage a workload of 5-6 service calls per day, aiming for minimal callbacks.
  • Good communication skills with office.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service roles, handling both residential and light commercial systems.
  • EPA License.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screening test prior to employment.
  • Proven proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems, including expert knowledge of refrigerant, electrical, controls, and mechanical issues.
  • Capable of working independently with superb time management skills to meet schedule and work targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a good attitude & be a team player.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Be able to work a on call-rotation.
  • Must be able to work closely with office, completing necessary paperwork and record keeping.
