Reports To Project Manager or Install Manager
Position OverviewThe Install Foreman serves as the on‑site leader for landscape installation projects, responsible for coordinating daily field operations while actively working alongside the crew. This role ensures installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, quality standards, and schedules established by project leadership. The Install Foreman plays a key role in translating project direction into consistent, high‑quality field execution.
CoreResults & Accountability
- Leading crews in the execution of landscape installation projects
- Ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards
- Maintaining job sites that reflect Grand Entrance Group expectations for safety, organization, and professionalism
- Supporting Project Managers through clear communication, documentation, and job progress updates
- Lead and supervise assigned crew members while actively participating in daily installation work
- Communicate daily task assignments, priorities, and expectations clearly to the crew
- Execute and oversee installation activities in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Monitor workflow, labor efficiency, and overall job progress
- Maintain quality control throughout all phases of installation to ensure work meets company standards
- Enforce safety procedures and address or report unsafe conditions promptly
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Prepare trucks, tools, and equipment at the end of each workday for the following day
- Complete required documentation and provide accurate job updates to Project Managers
- Address performance issues as needed using established company procedures
- Demonstrated experience in landscape installation or construction environments
- Strong working knowledge of landscape installation methods, materials, and equipment
- Experience leading or directing crews in a field environment
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, schedules, and site conditions
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Treat job sites, materials, and client properties with professional care and respect
- Lead crews with fairness, consistency, and accountability
- Maintain safe, orderly, and professional job sites
- Uphold company safety policies and quality expectations at all times
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with company standards

Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work of doors in all weather conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions; use varied hand and power tools, drive a motor vehicle and/or heavy construction equipment; lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen;
and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone and/or radio. Must work overtime as required. Must be willing to work out of doors in all weather conditions and with exposure to traffic and potentially hazardous conditions.
