Crane Operator

Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing construction, fabrication, and crane services. We operate one of the largest fleets of road‑ready hydraulic cranes in eastern North Carolina and South Carolina. We are currently seeking a Crane Operator to work out of our Liberty, NC location.

• Operate the crane in a safe manner per job site requirements.
• Assist in setting up the crane.
• Conduct a safety check each day before operating the crane.
• Monitor crane stability and load weights.
• Make minor repairs if necessary to the machinery.
• Communicate any issues or problems to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep reports and documentation of necessary information.
• Perform all other additional assignments.

• Walk/stand on surfaces that may be even, uneven, stable, unstable, and vary in composition.
• Work in awkward spaces and/or positions, including confined spaces and climbing.
• Lift up to 81+ pounds and push up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

• Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• NCCCO certification.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable operating experience.

Working conditions may be indoor or outdoor. Schedule may include overtime, overnight, and weekend work. Pay commensurate with experience and knowledge.
