You'll get paid to learn, and once you graduate, we'll hire you full-time. You won't be sitting behind some computer screen-- you'll be out in the real world, making a big difference in your community.

Your Role As a Tech Builder:
- You’ll go from no HVAC experience to HVAC pro! Our Tech Builder trainees come from all kinds of backgrounds. Your background is part of who you are today, but it doesn’t have to dictate who you’re gonna be tomorrow. If you wanna be an HVAC technician, put in the effort and we can help you become one of the best!
- You’ll participate in classes and labs. When you join Tech Builder, you’ll have some time in the classroom, time in our state-of-the-art lab, and time riding along with current technicians to actual appointments.
- You’ll graduate and become a full-time Maintenance Technician.
- You’ll make good money. Morris-Jenkins offers compensation far beyond most other companies. After you graduate from class, we’ll give you a raise! Many of our Tech Builder graduates are now making more than $100k a year.
Some highlights about this career opportunity:
- You’ll train for about 10 weeks with some of the best teachers and equipment around, and when you pass the class, you’ll be hired on as a full-time HVAC technician! Oh, and did we mention? It’s paid training! ($18/Hr)

This is the stuff HR needs you to know:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Basic mechanical or electrical skills
- A friendly personality and helpful, positive attitude to provide a top-notch customer experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass an extensive criminal background check
- Must have an insurable driving record & valid driver license with at least 3 years of driving history
- Able to meet Physical Demands and tolerate Work Environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior work experience in customer service or sales
- HVAC-related certifications or education
