Assist mechanics with repairs and service as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Transport vehicles, supplies and equipment as needed anywhere within our Health System.
Responsibilities- Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and vehicles such as ambulances, automobiles, and trucks.
- Make field repairs as needed.
- Perform general tire and repair work on equipment and vehicles.
- Perform field or shop inspections of heavy and light equipment to determine cost of repair needs or estimate cost of repair.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current valid NC driver's license with a good driving history.
- EMS certification or experience preferred.
- Secondary technical education or experience in the automotive repair field preferred.
