Carpenter Position At Sun Energy1

SunEnergy1 is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to support construction activities on commercial and utility-scale solar projects. This role requires frequent travel to project sites and involves hands-on carpentry work including framing, formwork, structural modifications, and general construction support.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform rough and finish carpentry work on solar and construction sites
- Construct and install framing, forms, supports, and temporary structures
- Build and dismantle concrete formwork and assist with pours
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Support site preparation and structural modifications as required
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Travel to project sites nationwide as needed
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews
- 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience
- Experience in commercial or utility-scale construction preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75–100%)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Solar construction experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
