- Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and install/maintain machinery;
Dismantle and move machinery and equipment; assemble and install machines and test them for proper operation;
Oversee preventive maintenance and lubricate mechanical parts to minimize downtime;
Move mechanical parts using forklifts; align machines and equipment; fasten structures; operate engine lathe to machine parts as needed;
Ensure work is performed safely and maintain a clean, orderly work area
