Job Overview
Employees will have the necessary skills to operate tools, complete glasswork, woodwork, and install components associated with the construction of fiberglass boats. Employees must exhibit initiative, work well with others, and be responsible for safety and quality of work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow safe work practices and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Understand and use all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Operate various stationary and hand tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, shaping and installing materials.
- Install basic marine electrical systems (AC and DC systems, bonding, wire runs, simple electrical connections, chaffing protections).
- Install basic marine plumbing and mechanical systems (bonding, hose runs, chaff protections, installing ball valves, thru-hulls, seacocks, hose connections, etc.).
- Laminate construction:
Assemble decks to hull, dividers, wireway piping, supports, and mounting systems. - Safely work with resins and gel coats: prep surfaces, properly mix components, and dispose of waste.
- Install cabinets, countertops, doors, and frames.
- Install all mechanical components, including pumps, motors, engines, HVAC systems, controls, running gear, electronics, etc.
- Install wet exhaust systems (mufflers, piping, insulation and clamping).
- Fuel tank:
Perform pressure test, install tank, and route hoses. - Maintain housekeeping:
Clean up work area, stationary tools, and work platforms. - Perform other duties as defined by management.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Basic understanding of marine mechanical/electrical installations.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16-inch increments.
- Ability to walk, perform repetitive motions, stoop, see and distinguish colors, bend, hear, lift up to 50 pounds, follow instructions, climb, give concise instructions.
